What have you been doing since we last chatted three years ago?
Yeah, tagal na nga since my last FHM pictorial. Medyo kaka-launch ko lang sa Star Circle Batch 9 member nun. I have an album coming out that plays up my sexy side. And then I'm part of Showgirls.
How does it feel to be a part of this cover extravaganza?
Sobrang sarah ng feeling kasi cover kami ng FHM! So when Maribeth (Diaz-Rapinan, Showgirls producer) informed me about your invitation, go agad ako—sabay bawas nang konti sa pagkain tapos todo workout.
Was making a name as a dancer ever a part of your career plan?
Actually, when my sister quit our singing group. The Cherries, gusto ko na rin talaga umayaw. Then I became part of Star Circle kung saan maraming nakapansin sa potential ko sa pagsasayaw. There was this one time that Michelle Bayle and I did a number for Masayang Tanghali Bayan . At that time, malakas na talaga iyong ugong tungkol sa galing ni Michelle sa pagsasayaw. Dahil hindi ako nakapag-practice all I did was watch the video of the choreography. Nang isinalang na kami nagulat yung iba na akala hindi ko mapu-pull off yung steps. Nagtuluy-tuloy na yung from there and then I got this gig.
Ever entertained thoughts of upstaging any of the girls?
Walang nagsisiraan ditto. Pangit naman yun. It's inspiring n gain a way to be dancing with the likes of Michelle. Kasi ang galing niya talaga. So, siyempre guto ko ring maabot yung talent level niya.
What's a typical show like?
We do high-concept dance concerts, very thematic. Like last year we did a very movie-oriented concert in which we danced to the music from Charlie's Angels, Austin Powers, etc. I'm one of the girls na nababatuhan ng mga routines with parusa steps-maraming splits, hagis-hagis sa ere, tumbling.
How sexy will your album be?
I'm being packaged as a dancer-singer. May carrier single is a remake of Put3ska's “Manila Girl.” Naging sexy siya kasi may mga moaning dun sa kanta. And the video is sexy rin kasi Michelle and Gem Ramos are there. So may mga steps na medyo naughty kaming tingnan. Pero di siya masaya, patikim lang talaga kumbaga at may class. |

How naughty are you?
Kung gaano ako kabait, ganun din kao ka-naughty. Charing! Puwede ba yun? Lahat naman tayo may naughty side. Lalo na ngayon, marami akong work kung saan pilya ang dating ko. Actually, naughty lang ako pag nakasuot ako ng mga seductive clothes, bikinis, lingerie…uniforms. Ha ha!

School uniform! Ha ha! Sa mga shoots, mahilig talaga ako magrole-playing.

Do you go out of your way to shop for these kinds of clothes?
Oo, lalo na if I get to do pictorials and portray sexy roles sa TV. Kailangan mo talaga iyong mga ganung klaseng damit. Medyo mahal nga lang.
Say you're feelingl naughty and you suddenly felt the need to get it on with one of your Showgirls pals, who among them would be the lucky gal?
Michelle Bayle. Sa video nga namin may mga touching and kissing kaming kinunan. Masyado lang kasi akong kampante sa kanya. And she's quite playful.

Don't worry, when my album comes out siguro mas magiging visible ako sa TV at more daring, yung tipong hindi ninyo ako makakalimutan. Just tell me when, guys, and I'll be back in FHM. Promise! .
