our most recent interview with her, Viva Hot Babe Maui
Taylor told us that in her latest VCD entitled
"Maui Taylor: Sex Goddess," she
shows everything!
"In
my past VCDs, I just showed my upper body. Talagang
pa-sexy lang. But in 'Sex Goddess,' pinakita ko lahat.
May frontal nudity ako, but it's not malaswa. Maganda
ang pagkagawa," she said.
We asked her why she should do a frontal nudity in the
VCD, and Maui said matter-of-factly: "Para people
will see something new naman in the VCD. I wanted something
different."
Isn't she apprehensive of what the public reaction will
be especially from the so-called moralists? "I
know we will be receiving a lot of complaints again.
Pero sanay na ako sa ganito. Moralists have always been
complaining about us Hot Babes, our shows and even TV
appearances. But there's nothing that can be done anymore.
Out na ang VCD eh. At saka, we're just doing a job."
Maui even believes that when certain quarters denounce
them, they somehow help them sales-wise.
"Para na rin kasi publicity sa amin yan eh. Like
what is always said, bad publicity is still publicity.
Nakakatulong sa mga concerned kahit papaano."
In "Sex Goddess," directed by acclaimed commercial
director Rico Gutierrez, Maui turns herself into 11
enchanting goddesses. She is Goddess of the Sea for
one, so expectedly she is shown with nary a thread in
her body. She is also Virgin Goddess, Lady Silkworm
and many more. And spotlighted in all of them is Maui's
woman-child body, her eroticism, and sensuality that,
surely can make men's most passionate fantasies come
alive.
The steamy 60-minute private video is available in VHS,
VCD and DVD formats and is available in all leading
video stores (Video City, AstroVision, Tower Records)
nationwide.
Incidentally, Maui won't be doing any more movies this
year. Her last for this year will be "Bugbog Sarado"
which will be shown on Oct. 15. The movie also stars
Victor Neri, Andrea del Rosario and Jordan Herrera among
others.
"I did four movies already for this year and I
think kailangan ko rin magpahinga at saka baka ma-overexpose
na ako. I was offered another Mickey Arroyo
project pero sabi ko next year na lang. Pagod na ako.
I'll just concentrate on shows, and TV appearances muna."
Maui is a regular at GMA 7's "Kool
Ka Lang."
Maui said the Hot Babes still has six more "Flesh"
shows to do and the next one will bring them to Hong
Kong. "Excited na ako for this show," she
concluded.
