Spirit Of The Glass ith the influx and rise of the Asian horror genre in the Filipino masses' consciousness, it is no surprise that local filmmakers have joined in the bandwagon, producing several Pinoy horror films at a given time. But one such film has raised the bar of the local horror film genre and that is Spirit of the Glass , directed by famed film director Joey Javier Reyes.

With an all-star cast including Marvin Agustin, Rica Peralejo, Alessandra de Rossi, Paolo Contis, Dingdong Dantes, Ciara Sotto and Drew Arellano, Spirit of the Glass was the third top grosser in the 2004 Metro Manila Film Festival.

The film revolves around a group of friends who decide to play the game spirit of the glass in an ancestral house where they are spending their vacation. Driven to play the game out of sheer boredom, the group playfully tried to conjure spirits despite the incessant warnings of the aged caretaker. What started out as fun turned into a rollercoaster ride of fear as all hell broke loose when they unknowingly ventured into the dark side of the supernatural.

They were mistaken to believe that the experience ended when they ended the game. In fact it was only the beginning of a more harrowing series of events. The haunting didn't stop as they have already opened up forces beyond their imagination, with the spirit that they set loose haunting them one by one.

Spirit of the Glass is now on video. Released and exclusively distributed by Tatak Pilipino, you can now watch the movie in the comfort of your homes, not minding whether you're screaming at the top of your lungs.

Whatever you do, don't attempt playing spirit of the glass and don't dabble into the supernatural. You never know what will happen. Just go get the video and find out for yourself why.
