uffa and Sheryl: All Grown Up

It came as no surprise when Ruffa Guttierez and Sheryl Cruz joined show business when they were both very young. After all, acting is in their blood, having both come from showbiz families. Their similarities don't end there. Both became successful actresses with legions of fans. Both also eventually turned their backs on Tinseltown to be with the men they loved. Now, they have their own little princesses: Sheryl has a three-year-old daughter named Ashley while Ruffa has one-year-old Lorin and two-month-old Venice . This November, YES!, Your Entertainment Source gives you a peek into the new lives of Ruffa and Sheryl.

Ruffa takes you on a tour of her Beverly Hills condo and introduces her new little angel. Ruffa named her new baby Venezia after the Italian city of Venice , a place Yilmaz and she want to visit soon. The baby's second name Loran is Turkish for “beautiful”. “ May nagsasabi , mini-Lorin daw si Venice . Some say ako ang kamukha . Others, si Yilmaz daw . I guess we'll all know when she's older. Sa ngayon , she's behaved. All she does is sleep and eat, then sleep again,” Ruffa shares.

After eight years in the United States , Sheryl Cruz, now 30, is making a showbiz comeback via Regal Films' Mano Po 3, which will be shown in December. “The reason naman why I wanted to come back home is not only because I want to try showbiz again… I wanted to see my family and settle some matters like, you know, mag -give-respect to my dad (Ricky Belmonte) who passed away and all that, na hindi ko nga nagawa noon .” Sheryl's husband, who is very supportive of his wife's long vacation, is joining Sheryl in December. Sheryl intends to go back to the U.S. in February but plans to come home to Manila often and spend more time here.
