Top character actress Sylvia Sanchez, also a mom to four children, is a skillful and sensible buyer. Instead of going to the malls for her Christmas décor, she goes to the source itself. Her 8-foot Christmas tree, in fact, was bought in a factory in Bulacan.
It took only one day for television star Melissa Mendez, a mom of three girls, to deck her home with holiday trimmings. Even her family's 10-seater dining table looks dazzling peppered in red and green. The 10 seats are all filled on Christmas Eve because after attending Christmas worship service the family of four girls feast on their Noche Buena here, along with visiting relatives.
The Christmas motif in the residence of Beth Tamayo, now married to businessman Johnny Wong, used to be red and gold, but Beth has now decided on a Holiday makeover. "Sabi ko ibahin naman. Nagsasawa na ako sa red and gold. So I got copper, gold, and bronze. It turned out nice," she explains.
How do celebrity kids celebrate their birthdays? This month's issue also features the grand P1-million kiddie party of Ruffa Gutierrez-Bektas's daughter Venice . With a magical fairy theme, the party boasted of 500 guests, occupied two hotel ballrooms, and brought together a veritable who's who of showbiz and politics.
