ennifer Aniston Talks about Family

Following the parting of ways for Friends , Jennifer Aniston was looking forward to spending more time at home–at least for a while, maybe to start that family she and husband Brad Pitt want. “I had mixed feelings about Friends finishing because I wanted to spend more time with Brad and get on with the rest of my life. But on the other hand, I felt loyalty to the show and didn't want to let anyone else down,” she admits. Now, Jennifer has a schedule that will keep her hard at work until 2006 at least. Jennifer talks about her plans for the future in the November issue of Good Housekeeping magazine.

“Things are going to be pretty busy for a while, but they can all change if circumstances also change,” she says, obviously hinting at the pregnancy she and Brad are hoping for. “Meanwhile, I have several projects I am working on.” While Brad is working hard on his own schedule, Jennifer has Diary , a remake of Gambit and at least two other projects in line.

The ending of Friends marks a very good chapter in Jennifer's life, and the start of a new one. Minus the workload of a regular program, Jennifer can now concentrate on family life. She and husband Brad Pitt have recently transferred into a home built to their tastes and plans. One of the most exciting areas: a baby nursery. Brad and Jen are very excited about having small feet pitter-pattering in their new home and are now busy child-proofing the place.

Although the subject of filling the nursery is a no-go area in interviews with Jennifer, it is no secret that she and Brad are keen to have a baby. “I love babies and I do hope to have a big family,” says Aniston.

Unlike many Hollywood hookups, the Brad Pitt-Jennifer Aniston knot seems to be made of stronger stuff. They have just celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. “In Hollywood , that's a lifetime, so we are pretty pleased. I don't just love Brad, I love being with him. Whenever we are together, I feel I am with my best buddy. It's a real gift to find someone to share your life with and it turns out right. I lived through my parents' divorce so I am not deluded by stories of fairy tale romance, but I am a happy woman,” discloses Jennifer.

This month's issue also features the “Eat More, Lose Big” diet, 10 Dos and Don'ts for a Great Marriage and a fresh take on Asian dishes plus a FREE holiday magazine inside!
