"Star in a Million" is the breeding ground for new talents who are groomed to follow in the footsteps of established performers, Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Lani Misalucha and Regine Velasquez. Last Jan. 3, the show ended and Erik Santos was hailed the ultimate star, bringing home the grand prize of 1 million pesos and a house and lot.

The amazing talents of Erik and the other finalists can be heard over and over in the "Star in a Million" album, released by Star Records. Tracks in the album include "Say That You Love Me" by Christian Bautista, "I Can't Tell You Why" by Gayle Dizon, "In My Life" by Michell San Miguel, "Come In Out of the Rain" by Sheryn Mae Regis, and "You" by Johann Escañan. Also included are "If I Didn't Love You" by Czarina Rosales, "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin" by Marinel Santos, "Run to You" by DK Tijam, "I Love You, Goodbye" by Teresa Garcia and "I Believe I Can Fly" by Eric Santos. The "Star in a Million Theme," performed by all the finalists, is also in the album. As an added treat, the CD contains a free VCD of the music videos of all ten songs.
