STAR RECORDS is proud with the release of its 4-in-1 album entitled Singles – four female singers in one album. Singles is the female version of the highly successful male compilation album Solo and Solo 2 – which launched the careers of Divo , Josh , and King (for Solo), Michael Cruz , Johann Escanan and R2D (for Solo 2). Like its male counterpart, Singles also serves as a launchpad for the careers of four young female singers, namely Karel Marquez , Aliya Parcs , Maoui David and Marinel Santos .

MYX veejay Karel Marquez has been in the spotlight for as long as she can remember. Being the daughter of famed actress Pinky Marquez , Karel basically grew up in show business. Though her first album is not entirely hers, Karel is excited to be able to record an album – a dream she's always had since she was a kid. Karel's personal taste and preference in music comes across in her choice of songs for the album. Like most girls her age, she's leaning towards the alternative rock genre and this is what you'll hear form her in the album Singles. She has four songs in the album Singles. Maoui David is often seen on television shows as a guest performer – singing and dancing in musical variety shows and acting on various soaps and teleseryes.

She is part of the segment Full Circle in ASAP . Maoui has four songs in the album, namely, Everytime , Sweet Special Moment , Friend of Mine and her current single One Last Cry .

Gifted Marinel Santos brought herself closer to her dream of becoming a popular singer when she finally decided to join ABS-CBN's high-rating show Star in a Million Season 1 . There, she proved to everyone that she's indeed a diva in the making. Before a live audience. Marinel showed what she was made of, along with famed singers Sheryn Regis and Erik Santos .
