Universal Records released a repackaged edition of the hit Orange and Lemons album, “Strike Whilst The Iron Is Hot”. Together with it's new handsome packaging is the inclusion of the nationwide smash, “Pinoy Ako”, the theme tune from ABS-CBN's toprating “Pinoy Big Brother” reality show.
There are also new cuts in the repackaged version of “Strike Whilst The Iron Is Hot” album—“Blue Moon”, the theme song from the movie of the same title from Regal Films. “Abot Kamay”, a new Orange and Lemons composition for the new Sunsilk commercial; and naked versions of the current favorites “Heaven Knows (This Angel Has Flown)” and “Hanggang Kailan (Umuwi Ka Na Baby)”.
Also in the repackaged edition as bonus are the Orange and Lemons music videos, “Hanggang Kailan (Umuwi Ka Na Baby)” and “Heaven Knows (This Angel Has Flown)”.
Orange and Lemons became the hottest and most promising band today after the release of their “Strike Whilst The Iron Is Hot” album which is both a commercial and critical success.
The promo blitz of the new album is sponsored by Time Force, No Curfew and Freego. The album launched was held October 24 at RnB Bar in Metrowalk.
The band members are Clem Castro (electric guitar/ vocals), Mcoy Fundales (acoustic guitar/ vocals), JM Del Mundo (bass guitar) and Ace Del Mundo (drums).
With their own fresh and distinct sound reminiscent of the melodic ditties of the Beatles and hook-laden songs of the ‘80s New wave guitar bands like the Smiths and Housemartins, Orange and Lemons are named Best New Artist in NU 107's 2004 Rock Awards.
With the strong support of Metro Manila and nationwide radio stations to Orange and Lemons, their “Strike Whilst The Iron Is Hot” album from Universal Records has already spawned two certified hits: “Hanggang Kailan (Umuwi Ka Na Baby)” and “Heaven Knows (This Angel Has Flown)”.
The band from Bulacan has regularly appeared in toprated TV and radio shows like ASAP Mania, ASAP Fanatic, SOP, Sis, Breakfast, MYX Live, MUP, Wowowee, Eat Bulaga, OK Fine, Home Boy, Net 25, Cube ITV, RX93 Concert Series, 99.5 RT Sunday sessions, Jam 88.3's Jam Session and was a featured artist in MTV Rising Star for the month of June.
