rdinary's how this supermodel on the rise describes herself. Here's exhibit A disputing just that!

We really don't know why, but here at FHM we get the impression that the ultimate mission of all humanity is to overcome mediocrity. Go beyond all things cliché. Value individualism. Never settle for the ordinary. Be different and, wham, aren't you the king of the ordinary since there's an army of misfits trying to do the same thing as you.

And that is exactly why Ornusa Cadness, alongside most geniuses, slackers, and lucky folk, seem to be above the trying hard lot. Unlike people who will die proving to the world how different and extraordinary they are, Ornusa won't a pretty muscle just to prove she's special. “Because that's it, that's just it,” she says, all worked up. “I don't really think much of stuff like that. I don't really pay attention to [these things].”

When Ornusa suddenly graced society pages in the arms of—no names here—dictator Macoy;s grandson, we knew we had to snatch her away from him one way or another. When she got more beautiful in her appearances in print, we began to wonder where the hell she came from. Now she's doing the modeling bit, which is just as well. Question is, why only now?

While ordinary people who cannot even spell her name correctly—first name, one's; last name with two—will be quick to dismiss the 21-year-old as just one of them rich kids who know nothing but party, Ornusa has nothing but refined snobbery. “I don't feel the need to prove them wrong but when they find out, it's lie, ‘See…'” she tells us.

In a time when everybody's waiting for the next “It” girl/band/trend, Ornusa easily flies away with the “Anti-It Girl” moniker and shines in pure laidback glory. Ornusa's playing it cool, and she's wonderful. You could use the same tack to get women like her, too, you know…

Okay, what you need to know about you first?
That I'm half-Thai and half-New Zealander. My dad used to work with the Asian Development Bank and when my mom was pregnant with me, they were living in Geneva and when they moved here, my mom gave birth to me. I was born and raised here.

Ah, so you're lived here since forever!
Well, I moved for a while. I went to New Zealand for six months then came back. My family's not here anymore. It's just my sister and I , the rest of them are in New Zealand .

How long ago did you start modeling?
I was really young. I had two commercials when I was in grade school I did pictorials for my mom's friend who owned a clothing line. I did some other stuff but I don't really remember. Anyway, it started when a friend of mined who had an agency brought his camera to the house and he just took my VTR and that's how it started.

Seems like you've had a lot of modeling jobs. Which of them do you think gave you the name? I don't' know if there is a job, more like a boyfriend. (laughs) that's the I see it.

Which leads us to the next question. How would you like people to know you, beside being Borgy's girlfriend, the lucky chap…
I don't really care what other people think. I'm used to people seeing me as just Borgy's girlfriend. If they don't know any better. I can't change that, right?

But how would you like to be known?
As me. Ha ha ha! As myself. I don't know. I can't put myself into one word, it's too hard.

What's the most important thing in a relationship? I'm not going to say trust, ha ha! As long as you guys can remain happy, you know, when you're in a relationship for so long, that feeling isn't there anymore. But then with us, it's still there. We're always wondering, “When is this going to stop?” and then one year later, we're like, “I don't think it's going to go away.” Ha ha!

Tell, us what should men do to keep a girl happy? Well, um, for starters, be honest—oh my God that's so typical!

You don't want to be typical?
Yeah. Ha ha! Trying hard not to be...but like, it's just a matter of being real, I guess. I mean, not trying too hard.

Again, people see you often in those society party pages and…
I know. I hate it. I hate that party girl reputation. Ha ha! I don't know why. Is it a crime?

So throw us off the chair. What is it about Ornusa that will surprise the bejesus out of us? People don't know that I paint. Actually, it's funny because in school we were asked to do a project where we had to paint and everybody had groups and I volunteered to do it by myself because you see, if I'm in a group. I always want to take control of it, so I decided I was gonna work alone. So I was kind of insulted. I was like, “Okay, I guess I'm not allowed to have any skills or something.” Ha ha!

Is this the biggest misconception about you?

Well, people think I'm a spoiled brat. I don't know why. Like when I go to the mall and I bump into someone and they'd be like, “What are you doing?” and I'm like “I'm doing groceries” and they'd be like “Really, you?” When I tell people I don't have maids, they're shocked.

It ticks you off, then?
I hate anything messy. Mess bothers me. If I go home and my room's messy, I can't sleep in it. I literally clean it up and then I sleep. No matter how tired I am. Or at least I have to gather all the junk and put it in one corner or at least it's in one area.

If there was a subject that could easily put you at ease, what would that be? I get a trip talking to people about their childhood. “Did you ever watch cartoons?” or something like that because up to now, I still watch cartoons.

We sometimes do, too! What's your favorite?
Fairly Odd Parents. Ha ha ha!

That's weird, you know.
I know! It's not really invented for kids! It's more mature.

You loved your childhood?
Yeah, too much. - -
