or
Donita Rose, no one day is alike.
On Mondays, she can be in Manila working all day,
and by 6 pm of that same day, find herself back
in Singapore to do research for MTV.
The
following morning, in Singapore, she can be jogging
from the house to the gym. After working out, she
can be in front of the camera doing her VJ chores,
from 9am until about 1:30pm.
Then
again, there are days when it's just all about herself
and husband Eric Villarama.
While
the elements of her day can vary from attending
to her Christian "cell group" to having
her nails done to hosting a product launch, there
are, of course, constants in Donita's life.
When
it comes to taking care of herself, Donita says
it starts with drinking as much water as she can.
Here
are other notes on how Donita Rose maintains her
24-hour, seven days a week beauty.
The
first thing she deals when in front of a mirror:
My eyebrows. I have to make sure my eyebrows are
plucked. Second would be my pimples. Then I make
sure I brush my hair.
Her
morning beauty routine:
I do not really have one but, normally, after a
really good shower I use a wash cloth and scrub
all over. I also make sure I put moisturizer in
my face and sun block.
What's
inside her Kikay kit:
I do not really have a kikay kit but I have the
same things all the time. Tweezers, blush, lip gloss,
lip liner, eyebrow pencil, hair spray, lotion, essential
oils, a little inhaler (for motion sickness and
migraine).
Beauty
product she can't leave home without:
Chap stick and / or tweezers.
The
importance of great-looking hair:
Hair is the most important accessory. I am not too
maarte about anything other than my hair, that's
why I only use the best, that's Lux!!! I'm also
particular about my skin because I need to look
presentable para kahit walang make-up, maganda ang
hair ko at malinis ang face ko.
Fave
hairdo:
Either down-blown down straight-or sleek to the
side and tied down low pony.
Her
nightly beauty regimen:
I just make sure I remove my makeup. I use facial
cleanser, makeup remover, facial soap, toner and
maybe a little moisturizer, but not on my forehead.
She
can't go to sleep without…
Reading the Bible.
Her
best physical asset:
Neck. I think that it's the sexiest part of my body.
How
she maintains her 24-hour beauty:
I think it only comes from a certain countenance
and radiance that shines from within. On the other
hand, if you are radiant and you do not maintain
yourself well, of course, you would not be getting
attention from a lot people.
So,
I would have to say it is a balance of both. Make
sure your ultimate beauty product is your countenance
and the rest would be maintenance.
What
she loves about being a girl:
The fact that we have a certain power over men that
helps us get away with things.
Of course, being a woman, you get to bear children
which I guess is a very beautiful thing, although
painful.
The
first thing guys notice about women:
I think that, when it comes to women, men go for
personality first and foremost. Kahit sobra kang
ganda, kung isnabera ka naman, that doesn't work
on men.
In
terms of physical appearance, men look at a woman's
body. And definitely, great-looking hair, I found
out, Is very attractive.-
